OVERVIEW OF FACILITY USE GUIDELINES
Purpose and Community Engagement: The Downtown Islamic Center is dedicated to offering a wide array of spiritual, religious, educational, social, recreational, and community programs tailored for the Muslim residents of Chicago. In addition, DIC warmly opens its doors to organizations, groups, and individuals who wish to use our facilities for activities aligned with our center's vision and mission.
Respect and Reverence: As a mosque and spiritual hub, the Downtown Islamic Center serves as a sacred space where the community gathers for worship and Islamic activities. We kindly remind all users that our center is a house of Allah (SWT) and should be respected as such during any event or program.
Application and Approval Process: All parties interested in using the facilities at the Downtown Islamic Center must complete an application process, adhere to our Facility Rules and Regulations, and may be subject to rental fees.

Application Completion: Fill out the Facility Use Application and sign the Facility Use Agreement. Should you have any questions about the application process, please contact us at DICPrograms@gmail.com.
Responsibility and Oversight: The application must be filled out completely and signed by an adult, aged 21 or older, who will take responsibility for the group and must be present for the duration of the event.
Response Time: After submission, applicants can expect to receive a response from the DIC team within 10 business days.
